Transportation, access to safe sanitation, and number of midwives and economic growth in districts in Indonesia

Transportation is the main driver of all economic sectors in a country. It boosts activity and promotes commodity geographical area. As maritime country with more than 17,000 islands Indonesia needs to connect through transportation so that economy can grow commodities across regions be traded commercialized. Other factors affect growth are health personnel infrastructure development. This study aimed investigate association between transportation, access sanitation, availability districts (kabupaten/kota) Indonesia. The data used came from Database for Policy Economic Research (INDO-DAPOER) World Bank covered 331 2005, 2008, 2011. dependent variable was total GDP excluding oil gas, while independent variables were villages asphalt road, household safe number midwives. results indicate higher associated percentage village households
